Arriving by Plane to Shannon Airport

The closest international airport to Limerick is Shannon International Airport. The airport code is SNN.
Airport Taxi from Shannon Airport

The airport cab desk, located in the arrivals hall, will organize an airport cab for you, where ever you need to go. It is open for all arriving flights.
If you wish to book in advance you can contact the desk directly: Tel: +353 (0)61 471538;  Email: info@shannonairportcab.com  or visit the airport cab website.
Exact fares are subject to agreement between the customer and driver. It is recommended that this is done prior to the commencement of the journey. Taxis to the city or University cost about €50-60. You can share a taxi with other delegates arriving.
Bus from Shannon Airport

You must take one bus to get from Shannon Airport to Limerick City Centre, and a further bus out to Castletroy (if you are staying in a Castletroy located hotel).  The buses are run by Bus Eireann.
For all city centre hotels and the Greenhills Hotel,  you must take Bus 343 from “Shannon Airport Arrivals Terminal”.  This bus stops outside the Greenhills Hotel and then continues into Limerick City to the William Street stop for Strand, Clayton, George and Savoy Hotels. For the Maldron and Southcourt Hotels, you will need to take a taxi from a Limerick City taxi rank to the hotel.  For all Castletroy hotels (Castletroy Park and Kilmurry Lodge), you should then get off the 343 bus and then take the Bus 304 from “William St (Superdrug Pharmacy)” to  the relevant stop for your hotel.  Please ask your driver and they will let you know when you reach your stop.

You can buy your ticket on the bus.

You can view the Timetable for Bus 343 here. Please look at ENNIS − SHANNON − LIMERICK for hours! You can view Timetable for Bus 304 here.
